Asos sale

Asos have a brilliant sale on at the moment and I just thought I had to write about it. It was brought to my attention by a friend and there are so many fabulous pieces on it I just couldn’t resist. I bought a gorgeous gold necklace made up of three chains adorned with crosses, I think it adds another dimension to an outfit and has a sort of 70s feel to it but made a little more classic. I adore it! And only five fifty! I also love a pair of lace gloves they have on sale but have yet to buy them, think I might end up having a little bit of online shopping spree tonight! Girls Night In

As a very typical girly girl I love a girly night in. What with the rubbish weather at the moment and the fog creating an almost wintery feel me and my girlfriends decided to have a classic girls night in and good old gossip! A couple bottles of red wine, chick flicks, chocolate and Jim jams – a great night in my opinion. Nothing quite like the classics like pretty women and a jumbo bar of galaxy to put me in a good mood! Best mascara ever?

OK so I find the topic of mascara to be a very interesting one, unlike most beauty products I think a lot of mascaras are good but very few actually work like there adverts suggest (most likely because there falsies but hey ho). So recently I have been using the smash box hyperlash and I think it may be the best I’ve ever used! It’s not too claggy on the lashes and gives my eyes a great "dolly" eyed look, or I like to think so hehe! Anyway it’s brilliant! And although I’m not an expert I would suggest it’s down to the wand which is more of a comb style than the big bushy ones in a lot of mascaras. That said it isn’t the cheapest on the market but if you have money to spend I would definitely recommend this one!

First Haul

Eeeek my first blogger haul, I'm very excited! Ok so I bought a pair of gorgeous shoes from AX-Paris, they're very classic, simple pointed stiletto, a must have staple. I also got earrings and a floral bracelet from forever 21. The earrings are gold with pastel colour stones which i think are great to add a bit of colour to an outfit (and the pastel colours are bang on trend for spring/summer 2012). I also picked up this great glitter nail varnish from Topshop, the official name is adrenalin. However my most exciting purchase is this six in a bag by cargo. It’s a solid black makeup bag (great for shoving in your handbag!) and contains 6 key pieces of makeup. The set includes a lip gloss, lip pencil, eyeliner, one base (concealer and foundation in one), cheek activator and a lash activator (AKA mascara). It also has a mirror and plenty of room for adding extras that you view as essential.
