Does any one else really struggle organising there stuff into an
arrangement there happy with? Sorting out my stuff always takes me
forever and it nearly always seems to get messy again, but yesterday
I gave sorting out my shoes another go! I wanted them easily
accessible but I without building a case specifically for them in my
wardrobe or spending an absolute fortune. So after clearing out
tonnes, right the way from flip-flops to boots I had to decide how to
put them back. Now this my sound absolutely stupid, you may be
thinking just place them at the bottom of the wardrobe and walk away!
But I cant fit them all like that and didn’t want to separate them
into different wardrobes/places. So I purchased these clear shoe
boxes. I used to keep all my shoes in shoe boxes but trying to find
the pair I wanted was such a hassle, especially when I'm in a hurry
and I end up flinging them about everywhere boxes boots and sandals
all jumbled up on the floor! But these work really well I can see
what’s in them and don’t have to take photos of all my shoes to
stick on the front. They stack much better too as there all the same
size. Here’s a little pic for you, not very exciting but I'm quite
proud, you wouldn’t believe how long it took my to get it tidy!

OOTD
Outfit of the day! My first one I’m very excited! Now I’m
not sure about the picture quality here so do let me know what you think. The weather
in England (or my part at least) is completely miserable, it’s drizzly, grey
and I can’t wait to get to another country and some sun (little bit of a moan
there sorry!). So unfortunately my summer clothes are remaining in my wardrobe
but I thought I’d post my outfit anyway. Today I’m wearing my new Asos skirt; it’s
a gentle a line style with a gingerbread man print. I then paired it with a
plain black spaghetti strap top and to make the look not to childish I guess I wore
my leather jacket too (from international). I thought this gave the look a bit
more of an edge rather than a pretty look. I then added my high heeled turn
down ankle boots from new look about two years ago but I absolutely love them
so have kept them quite a while now.
My jewellery is all silver and quite simple; I went for my h
necklace which was a birthday present and a silver pearl bracelet. My makeup is
a simple smoky eye and a plum lip, and I left my hair natural and kind of wavy.
Hope you like,

Book Review
Not quite
sure whether this post fits with the blog theme but thought I’d pop it in any
way! So a book review today. I just finished reading chocolate shoes and
wedding blues by Trisha Ashley, it’s a very typical chick flick book, but a
great easy read especially on a sun lounger while on holiday this year. The
story is about a woman reaching the end of her younger years and time when she
can have children but without her fiancée or children which she desperately want.
The lead is a great character and feels much more real than a lot of chick
flick characters, she loves baking, eating and shoes! A girl with great taste
hehe! However you can see where the story is going right from the blurb, it’s definitely
not for those wanting a intellectual read. Despite the predictability though I think
I’d be disappointed if the story didn’t go the way it does and there are a few
surprise twists. This is the first book I’ve read by Ashley and I’ll be reading
more for sure! Well written idealistic rom com!

First Haul
Eeeek my first blogger haul, I'm very excited! Ok so I bought a pair of gorgeous
shoes from AX-Paris, they're very classic, simple pointed stiletto, a must have
staple. I also got earrings and a floral bracelet from forever 21. The earrings
are gold with pastel colour stones which i think are great to add a bit of
colour to an outfit (and the pastel colours are bang on trend for spring/summer
2012). I also picked up this great glitter nail varnish from Topshop, the
official name is adrenalin. However my most exciting purchase is this six in a
bag by cargo. It’s a solid black makeup bag (great for shoving in your
handbag!) and contains 6 key pieces of makeup. The set includes a lip
gloss, lip pencil, eyeliner, one base (concealer and foundation in one), cheek
activator and a lash activator (AKA mascara). It also has a mirror and plenty
of room for adding extras that you view as essential. And that’s all for this
little haul, please comment and if anyone would like a review of any of the
above let me know.
